The artistic talent from around New York City will be on display in the 20 Over 60 Senior Art Show opening May 18, 3:30 – 6:30 pm at 20 Washington Square North in Greenwich Village. The juried exhibition features mixed media visual arts from 20 seniors affiliated with Greenwich House, selected by a jury composed of art influencers with long involvement in New York City’s arts culture.
Many of the show’s participants have been involved in community arts for at least a decade and their submissions provide for an interesting and compelling variety of forms and styles. All the artwork on display is available for sale, with 40 percent of the proceeds donated to Greenwich House to further support senior arts programming.
Greenwich House offers free admission to the show. Hours: May 18, opening reception from 3:30 – 6:30 pm; May 19, 12:00 – 5:00 pm; May 21 – 25, 9:00 am – 4:00 pm.
