Dear George,

It started as just another day in the neighborhood but ended in the E.R. For our local cops, it’s easier to shoo the fly, rather than remove the garbage. Residents in Distress has been there cleaning the streets since we began. Recently, you all read about my latest false arrest. I’ve continued to call the police and file complaints, with little or no cooperation from the boys in blue.

My latest visit resulted in my being forcibly dragged out of the station, while attempting to proclaim me a “EDP” or a Disturbed Person, yet again. When that failed, I was warned that next time they might not be so careful with me or my pup. Sitting in the hospital, where I was checked for an erratic heartbeat, I decided that these creatures could not be treated like professionals. All the many fine officers my mother and I have known, bear no resemblance to these cretinous fools that work there now. First off, they dress sloppily and inappropriately, while the Integrity Control Officer’s assistant dresses like a trashy call girl. Understand, these folks work for you. They don’t get the ‘courtesy, respect, and professionalism’ thing! Having been manhandled, mocked and insulted, I feel perhaps a tolerance training session is in order here ASAP.

From now on, I will proceed to making citizens arrests rather than expecting help from our local precinct. Most times they don’t get out of the car, before launching into their tirade against my attempts to clean the streets. Sadly, I am about to file yet another Federal lawsuit. Make sure that you all get your stories straight before the depositions. It goes without saying the the commander of the 6th is responsible for his crew. I have never seen such chaos or low morale in 50 years. Time for a change perhaps, regardless, I’m embarrassed for the many fine men and women who still strive to serve our community. May God keep you safe. You won’t have Jessica to kick around any more.
