Just out of the tub, soaking soapy wet, the phone rings and I step with pain-wracked knees in fear of falling to the demanding ring ring only to discover that it is a robo call.

Okay, this has to end.

The only way robo calls will end is if the sender must pay a penalty for making them. So, when the call comes in, you push a button on a small, attached black box which listens and records the robo call and registers it on your bill as a one-dollar credit; it charges the robo caller two dollars.

A repeat offender is relegated to solitary confinement with a concealed speaker that plays a medley of robo calls 24 hours a day.
