Warmest wishes to you for a bright and successful 2018! With the New Year, the Village will have a Caregiver Support Program at Northwell Health. This is thanks to you!
I wrote to you before the holidays about needing a community meeting place for our Caregivers to the Elderly Support Group. You told me that Northwell had meeting rooms, and then referred me to Alex Hellinger at Northwell. I spoke to Alex and then to Wayne Kawadler, Northwell’s Director of Community Relations.
Now, Wayne has generously scheduled a meeting room for us twice a month, beginning in February. We will meet on the first and third Wednesdays of each month from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 pm. All meetings are free.
I am beyond grateful to you and Northwell. We hope to reach out and help the Village community through our program.
