To prevent police officers from parking their private cars in front of the Bomb Squad Garage, large, unattractive concrete blocks were installed. But thanks to a gift from Charles Street resident Steve Witkoff to the Charles Street Block Association, those blocks are now being covered by wooden planters designed by architect Brian Pape and built by Candice Groenke.
