ANYTHING FOR THE RIGHT ANGLE: Passing this scene on Charles Street, one could only marvel at the photographer’s ingenuity, seriousness of purpose—and excellent physical condition!
“IT TAKES TWO”, as the serious tango dancers at the mellow sunset sessions on Pier 45 demonstrate every Sunday and Wednesday. And, should no partner come forward, there’s even an occasional brave soul who, unable to resist the Latin beat, will step out all alone.
IS HE REAL? He’s certainly a source of endless fascination for tourists and locals alike who stop to stare, photograph, touch and, in the case of this young visitor, seriously test this enigmatic figure standing on the southern end of the High Line. Hate to blow his cover, but a hint for the curious: Try entering “highline sleepwalker” online.
