What if a Tragedy Happened Here?
What if the Orlando shootings happened at the Stonewall or any place in the Village? All the news cited how having a trauma hospital close by saved many lives. I’m sure you already have an article planned, that and our politicians actually doing something about the lack of real trauma care on the Lower Westside could help save many lives. Right after St. Vincent’s closed, I was hit by a car on Greenwich Ave. It took two hours on a Saturday afternoon to get me to Beth Israel just across town.
