Hi George:
I was reading the News & I noticed the box asking for news & complaints. Casa La Femme (140 Charles St.) has been a constant source of loud music, loud clientele partying out on the street at all hours.
George at Hub Bikes had an afternoon altercation (several weeks ago) with the restaurant where the police were called. I have repeatedly called the restaurant to ask that the music be turned down (the tambourine & the cat calling drives me wild). I have repeatedly complained to 311 & written reports.
For people like me that enjoy leaving their windows open, Casa La Femme makes it unbearable! This is a quiet neighborhood street & I, for one, would like for it to go back to that. Why are they allowed to spill out on the street & the noise levels… even during the afternoons. They can’t even clean the restaurant without the music levels being heard all down the street.
They are BAD neighbors. Is there anything that can be done?
