Restoring a Hospital to the West Village

I didn’t get a chance to say goodbye at the end of last evening’s event, so wanted to send you a quick note. I really appreciated your remarks (and continuing work) on restoring a hospital to the West Village, we are very lucky to have your long-term commitment to the issue!
I didn’t get a chance to mention it last night, but I think the hospital question is one with many levels of impact. In addition to concerns regarding emergency response times, heart attacks, etc. many of the neighbors around my age also worry about raising families in an area without hospital services. I’ve had the conversation with other young couples in the area and it seems like a common fear. I thought I would pass that tidbit along, hopefully another arrow to add to your quiver!
