Hi George,
For several years we have been concerned about the wild skateboarding that takes place in our WV on the south side of West 11th Street between Greenwich Avenue and Seventh Avenue.
Unfortunately this has escalated into crazy biking with young guys performing biking tricks at a super fast pace. They begin quickly, pick up speed, and trip their bikes off the slanted brick wall and fence.
This is hazardous to pedestrians who are trying to navigate down the block, between the hospital demolition on the North side. Whether skateboarding or trick bicycling, the majority of participants are not residents, but just gather there multiple times in the week.
This is indeed an accident waiting to happen!!! Some poor pedestrian will get hurt!
