The Bedford-Barrow-Commerce Block Association congratulates our Charles Street neighbors on their 35 years of community service and we wish them continued successes. Longevity is also celebrated in our community. Our BBC was founded in 1974 and today has over 300 members.
Under the leadership of our President, Kathy Donaldson, we have grown into what many say is the “largest and most active Block Association in the Village”. Since the founding, our “Ye Olde Village Fair” has raised and proudly given away over $500,000 to many Village social service organizations, a precedent which we are pledged to continue. Block Associations are a keen source for community outreach, providing unlimited potential resources for the future of our Greenwich Village.
We thank the Westview for citing the successes of our neighbors in the Charles Street Block Association.
