When is comes to reading business cards, incipient cataracts and high styled graphics are increasingly divergent in directions. On one card I failed, several times, to read white type on an orange background and thought this one end of the design pomposity scale until, a, small in stature, but evident large in ego, design impresario (I think he stage directs shop openings) handed me a black card with his name in black shinny letters. You sort of had to tilt it into the light to read.
