Hi, Mr. Capsis.
I have lived in Greenwich Village my whole life, 60 years. My father was also born here as well as my grandparents. I have a lot invested emotionally in the neighborhood and having WestView News to read is very welcome. You print a column called West Village Original by Michael D. Minichiello and it’s a wonderful idea. It’s one of the columns that I enjoy very much because it features people who have been here a long time. There are very few of us left! Mr. Minichiello does an amazing job of presenting these people; writing concisely and without all the little tidbits that most people wouldn’t care to hear about. I hang on to his every word. Not only do I look forward to this column but many of my neighbors do as well. I do want to mention I love the whole paper also, but West Village Original really hits home with me. Thank you, Mr. Capsis. Your paper is much loved here in Greenwich Village.
