Dear Mr. Capsis,
I was quite appalled at your unattractive ethnic stereotyping of Gov. Andrew Cuomo and his father for talking too much because “maybe it’s the Italian in him.”
Such a cheap slur is out of place anywhere but especially in Greenwich Village, home to so many Italians for so long and the beneficiary of their talent, charm, citizenship and ingenuity.
Sometimes editors and newspaper publishers talk too much also.
An apology is in order, not only to Italians, but to all Villagers and New Yorkers.
