Excerpt of letter received by publisher:
“Hub Plumbing illegally parks in our neighborhood week-after-week… They rely on walking or driving traffic police to be busier with more important police business than to monitor their illegal parking… They are winning the contest in the 6th Precinct. Hub Plumbing has convinced a few of our neighbors that there is no such company, that Hub Plumbing is the police department! Or Hub Plumbing is owned by a police officer. They are able to illegally park endlessly with arrogant defiance.”
Your Publisher visited the Community Affairs office of the 6th Precinct
And received a “we will look into it.” Followed a week later by a call offering that the owner of Hub Plumbing would “take care of it.”
If he fails, we invite our reader to send us another email. Oh, the owner says he is not a member of the police force.
