Dear George:
Would it be against WestView News policy to print the following:
“Thank You Saint Jude, for answering my prayer. LR”
I would be most grateful if you would print it. If you are willing to do it, please let me know the cost and I will bring you the money… and a plate of chocolate chip cookies.
The Village Den Coffee Shop on the ground floor of my apartment building has been a large and important part of my life for over 40 years. In the last year, there have been rumors flying around that they were losing their lease May 1, then June 1 then June 6. I was traumatized and devastated, and did what I do in a circumstance like that: I turned to Saint Jude, Apostle of Christ, Help of the Hopeless, Patron of Hopeless and Difficult and Hopeless Cases.
Yesterday, I spoke to Gus, the owner of the Village Den and he told me that he signed a new 10-year lease on June 1.
I am now praying to Saint Jude that Nicky and Sean will be able to negotiate an affordable lease renewal on the three Tea & Sympathy shops, and if we are blessed by them being able to renew their lease and stay on Greenwich Avenue, I would like to print a similar prayer of gratitude in WestView News.
Thanks so much dear George,
Love,
Liz
PS – I believe that I am alive today healthy and functioning because of the intercession of Saint Jude when I was in my early 20’s and in quite dire straits. I am and have always been grateful.
