De Blasio’s Campaign
Dear Editor,
I am a strong de Blasio supporter. He appears normal. I like that in a leader.
What I don’t understand is that everyone is saying Weiner and Quinn are the front runners in the Democratic Mayoral race. 10% for deBlasio and 20-22% Weiner and Quinn.
In The New York Times (Thursday July 18) there are charts showing that among Democratic voters (the only ones who can vote in the Democratic primary!) de Blasio and Quinn each have a favorable rating of 29%.
De Blasio has 8% unfavourable. Quinn has 27% unfavorable! So why isn’t the media saying de Blasio is the front runner?
If I were the de Blasio campaign, I would capitalize on this and really use it!
Is the media so bought and paid for by Bloomberg Quinn Real Estate people that they are forced to back Quinn and preach what a loving wife Weiner has?
I pray daily that Bill de Blasio will be our next mayor, but I’m not holding my breath.
