According to The New York Post, Rosie O’Donnell just shelled out $8 million for a new home in the former St. Vincent’s Hospital building in Greenwich Village. The 3,000-square foot duplex features 4 bedrooms and 3 baths, with the building boasting a “green roof” and both filtered air and water. In March, the City Planning Commission approved the hospital’s condominium makeover, much to the ire of some neighborhood residents hoping for a full service hospital. The 130 West 12th Street building has also attracted the eyes of Cameron Diaz and Blake Lively, but both never ended up sealing a deal.
