Savvy Shopper’s Feedback

admin 04/04/2017     Briefly Noted, Food, Letters, Neighborhood, Opinion

Buying coffee at McNulty’s, I was surprised to see a handwritten sign reading “Colombian coffee $90/lb.”  I asked if anyone was buying it and was told, “Yes, it works out to about $3.00 per cup.” The coffee plants come to Colombia from Ethiopia.
