
MOVEMENT TRULY SPEAKS: Dances for a Variable Population (DVP) is a multi-generational dance company and educational organization, which offers a regular exercise and dance program called MOVEMENT SPEAKS®. This program fosters strong and creative movement for adults of all abilities and ages, especially seniors. (back to camera): Naomi Goldberg Haas.
The classes, taught by Naomi Goldberg Haas and two other instructors, are 75
minutes long. They include a range of fitness routines and structured dance exercises to promote greater mobility, improved balance, enjoyable social interaction,
and increased self-confidence.
A one-time registration fee is required through NYC Parks and Recreation: $25 for seniors and $75 for adults. MOVEMENT SPEAKS® is held on Wednesdays from 10:00am-11:30am at: The Tony Dapolito Recreation Center, 1 Clarkson Street, New York, NY 10014.
