How come hospitals are not providing BOTH ER care AND Urgent Care? Hospitals are losing revenues and are NOT providing appropriate care. If both ER and Urgent Care were in the same location, it would be a win-win for both the hospital and the patient.
If the patient required solely Urgent Care, he/she would be released. If the patient required hospitalization, he/she would already be in the hospital, instead of having to be transported to a hospital. And we all know about gridlock and traffic, especially during rush hours, which seem to be extended.
Another important aspect is that some people do not know the difference (or that there are differences) between ER care and Urgent Care.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
