Thank you for your articles about the hospital issue. I could not agree more!
When I read the articles in the West View News, I could not help but think of Pulse in Orlando. The hospital was .25 miles (5 blocks) from the nightclub. Many of the doctors at the Orlando hospital said that people were minutes away from bleeding to death.
All of the nightclubs I can think of are on the Westside. What if some horrific event happened on the Westside? Many people would die on the way to West 60th Street or the Eastside. The free standing Lenox Hill ER could not handle something like this. We need a real hospital with a Level One Trauma Unit!!!
