Big Primary Vote on June 28th (Yes, Another One)

On Tuesday June 28th there will be a primary election for the Democratic candidate to run for the U.S. House of Representatives. Jerry Nadler, who has represented the West side of Manhattan including the Village for about 24 years, is running against newcomer Oliver Rosenberg.
Although both candidates have websites that detail their backgrounds and positions, the major issue has been Rosenberg’s opposition to the Iran Nuclear Treaty, which Nadler voted for. Because of the unusual date of the primary, there is a risk of a low turnout, and so the candidate who can get his supporters to the polls will have an advantage.
The winner of this primary will be the Democratic candidate for Congress in November and so will have a great advantage in this heavily Democratic district.
