Sen. Schumer’s Plan to Save St. Vincent’s:
Zero. But the Senator had no problem helping to steer 180 Million dollars in Sandy relief money to NYU Langone Medical Center (we all know how impoverished NYU is) and then receiving over $100,000 in campaign contributions from Langone (as reported in the New York Times, Feb. 25, 2014).
Based on the Senator’s Quid-Pro Quo style of helping out his community, perhaps there’s a condo waiting for him on the St. Vincent’s site for doing absolutely nothing to try and save it.
